Natalia Lavaggi - Public Relations, Production Lead, Customer Care

Born in El Savador and raised in Vancouver since she was a baby, Natalia’s journey in the beauty industry began in 2002. Her passion for healthy living comes from overcoming some of her own personal health challenges as a young adult and it continued to grow while she was in the beauty industry as a dermo cosmetic educator. She has an extensive background in broadcasting, performing arts and modelling which she threads into her work today. In 2016, she came across Okoko Cosmétiques (then recently launched) while working with Ecodiva Beauty in Vancouver as a freelance skincare consultant and makeup artist.

One of the things that drew her to the brand is the quality of the formulas and performance of the Okoko line. In 2017, she joined the Okoko Cosmétiques team and trained to become a certified skincare formulator. She acquired her Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation from Formula Botanica and is currently working toward an Advanced Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation. Since joining Okoko, Natalia has contributed in many areas such as production, marketing, sales and customer care. Always up for new challenges, she is now leading production and will soon be more involved in R & D and contributing to future Okoko Cosmétiques product launches.

IN HER OWN WORDS

“I strongly value the Okoko company culture which includes innovation, empowerment, excellence, compassion and a focus on customer care as these qualities are aligned to my personal values and outlook in life. I believe in fostering authentic connection and unity within the Okoko team and am passionate about empowering women (through my blog) to be confident and to believe in themselves while living a purposeful life.”
