There are certainly a wide array of mists and toners available in the green beauty industry and each effective in their own way. So when we were formulating Summer Mist for our skincare collection, our focus was to provide much more than just the benefits of a mist. So what special did we do?
We definitely created a mist that’s hydrating, balances the pH level of the skin, imparts a cooling effect and refreshes the skin…BUT we went that “extra mile” here (as always!) by formulating a mist that complements effective UV protection as well as protection against infrared rays!
The unique ingredient we introduced here is called Venuceane, derived from algae ferment that stands out for its infrared protection properties. Venuceane is basically an antioxidant that gets activated by heat; which means it becomes more effective as the temperature soars. This powerful antioxidant protects our DNA, cells, and tissues from the damaging effects of UVA and UVB. Its protecting action works better with increasing heat in the outside weather. So when the sun is hitting you high, the antioxidant action of Venuceane will become stronger and offer more protection.
Venuceane also vitalizes the cutaneous barrier and boosts hydration. Moreover, Venuceane calms inflammation caused by infrared radiation and aids in preventing degradation of collagen. Thus, it reduces the formation of wrinkles and prevents premature aging processes. So it becomes an efficacious anti-aging ingredient too!
