Okoko Goes Green

Sustainability: OKOKO Is Supporting A Cleaner & Greener Future

At OKOKO, we pride ourselves on being a principled, responsible green skincare company. Driven by a commitment to the environment, we’re working toward a waste-free future.

It is not enough for us to create clean skincare products. We strive to make a positive impact on and actively support the well-being of our environment, which is why we have launched “Going Green” — an eco-friendly, “green” initiative that focuses on reducing waste and pollution.

Here’s how we’re making a difference:

Shipping boxes

We have partnered with EcoEnclose to bring you shipping boxes that are made from 100% recycled boxes (produced from 95% post-consumer content) and are compostable. Read more about our shipping boxes on the supplier website.

Tissue Paper

We only use recyclable and biodegradable tissue paper, which has been printed using soy-based inks to reduce waste and air pollution. Read more about our tissue paper here

Marketing Cards

In order to further support our eco-friendly efforts, we adopted recycled texture stock, which is made from 100% post-consumer waste and produced without chlorine, for all our promotional cards and materials. Read more about our marketing cards here.

Packing Peanuts

Supplied by Uline, our packing peanuts are biodegradable and fully decompose in water, leaving no toxic waste behind. Read more about our packing peanuts here

The gloves we use at work are made from landfill biodegradable green nitrile. Learn more about them here.

Compostable Bags

All our product samples are packaged in compostable cellophane bags made with certified compostable, marine biodegradable films.

Shredded Paper

We use 100% recycled, eco-friendly shredded paper.

Our green skincare company remains committed to protecting the environment. As such, we are continually seeking and implementing new initiatives that will enable us to further minimize environmental footprint and give back to Mother Nature.
